OMHSAS Children's Advisory Committee (9/7)

During the 7/6 meeting, the Children's Advisory Committee began work on three priorities that were selected during a brainstorming process in the May meeting. The three priorities are: 1) individualized planning for children with high-end needs (alternatives to residential treatment facilities) 2) school-based mental health services and 3) workforce development issues. Committee members were invited to join the workgroups of their choice, which will meet this summer to define the issues and develop a work plan for how the committee will address the issue. The meeting will be held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Workgroups and committee meetings are open to all interested parties.
