Recovery Happens Conference (11/14)

Conference speakers will present tools that promote and support behavioral health recovery. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder and psychosis, the keynote speaker, actor and writer Victoria Maxwell, BFA, gives a unique and powerful "insider's" perspective on mental illness and recovery, early detection of depression, reducing stigma, and creating mental health strategies. Ms. Shelley Bishop, Executive Assistant for Consumer and Family Issues for the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), will speak about Pennsylvania recovery initiatives and her personal path of recovery. This conference is intended for individuals interested in behavioral health issues, including consumers and their families, providers, and other stakeholders.
