2006 Tax Benefits for Parents of Children with Disabilities

O'Connor provides a summary of federal income tax benefits available to families of children with disabilities. For example, he advises that "parents who attend conferences to obtain medical information concerning treatment for and care of their child may deduct some of the costs of attending a medical conference relating to a dependent’s chronic health condition." He advises families to print out this summary and provide to their tax adviser. Read more here.
