Student Photography Contest Aims at School Funding

The Education Law Center (ELC) is well known for supporting families of children who need special education advocacy. Now the ELC and their partners are holding a very exciting student photography contest.  The goal is to help students use creative ways to tell the story about the impact of under-funding on their education and on their communities.

The ELC needs your help to distribute the Request for Proposals through your networks, e-mail alerts, Web sites, and newsletters as widely as possible. They want youth groups or other community organizations in at least three communities to be selected to implement this project. The deadline for applications is March 12, 2007.

This effort is part of the Pennsylvania Education Funding Reform Campaign. Allison Balter (215-238-6970, ext. 322, abalter@elc-pa.org) at ELC is the primary contact and coordinator for the photography project.
