Family Members Needed for State Drug and Alcohol Council
The PA Substance Abuse Advisory Council is currently recruiting families for membership with the help of Momstell. Momstell is a PA family run drug and alcohol advocacy and support group. Last year Momstell successfully advocated with the Pennsylvania Legislature to establish an advisory council for the state-run drug and alcohol services.
The council will address substance abuse and co-occurring disorder issues and making recommendations to the Legislature, and the Departments of Welfare and Health.
