Follow-up on Bullying in Schools by School Staff

In a past Speak Out! submission, a mother talked about her child’s experiences being bullied by the staff at his school http://pachildrensnews.org/speakout_031208_01.htm. 

Recently a mother wrote us this response about her child’s similar experiences.

Dear Editor,

I just wanted to say that I feel for the unnamed mom from PA who wrote the article on bullying at the administrative level in schools. We, too, are being harassed by our principal and personnel regarding absences from chronic illness. Even after a doctor's note, they are constantly asking for more. 

I give you permission to print this as I believe a movement needs to happen.  I am sure there are plenty of others out there experiencing the same thing.
